Ilaria Ciabatti is a Florentine artist who, since her arrival in Peru, has shown a particular fascination with Peruvian silversmithing and viceregal times, creating silver objects that are distinguished by their quality and elegance.

ILARIA jewelry is characterized by it's use of natural elements such as spondylus, the andean opal, mother of pearl, sodalite, Peruvian turquoise, quartz and the amethyst among others. Sometimes opting for sober designs and at other times for designs that are freer in nature, ILARIA has developed a series of impressive collections where silver and stones are combined in harmonious fusion to create aesthetically perfect jewelry.

ILARIA's silver home decor line does not have a specific style, but rather is a fusion of many different styles. The connecting thread, however, is elegance, good taste and harmonious proportions. In this way ILARIA has been able to make an important contribution to the rebirth of Peruvian silversmithing, allowing it to be placed at the top level of the decorative arts.

Ilaria works with over 120 qualified artisans with whom she can preserve one of the oldest traditions of Peru, the art of Peruvian silversmithing, as she continues to renew and expand this proud tradition. In every piece that comes out of the workshop, we can see the ancient Peruvian handmade process come to life through techniques like relief, casting, hammering and chiseling.

The history of ILARIA

• 1990 ILARIA began exporting exclusively to the FARAONE stores in Milan.
• 1991 ILARIA exported to Paris to NINA RICCI's "Boutique Cadeaux".
• 1992 ILARIA exported to Switzerland.
• 1993 ILARIA exported to Madrid.
• 1994 ILARIA inaugurated the first store in Lima.
• 1995-2006 ILARIA continues its expansion throughout Peru.

Currently ILARIA has 24 stores throughout the country distributed between Lima, Cusco, Arequipa and Trujillo. There are also many displays in the best hotels in Lima and Cuzco. Currently Ilaria has 3 franchises in central America and one store in Santiago de Chile. All locales, even though each unique, have certain interior design aspects that characterize them as ILARIA stores.

Thanks to the beautiful silversmithing work and the continuous creation of new models, ILARIA has been able to achieve an important position in Peruvian and international society over the last 15 years, positioning itself as one of the top ranking names in it's field.
